Spring elopements in Cornwall (March and April)

Spring represents new beginnings, so there’s something beautifully symbolic about a spring elopement in Cornwall. One of our favourite things about this time of year is the blossoming flowers and trees and the pretty wildflowers which you can have in your wedding photos (including in the bluebell woodlands right next to our intimate Cornwall wedding venue).
Spring is also one of the best seasons to get married if you’re looking for Cornwall beach wedding photography as it’s before the summer crowds arrive (imagine standing with the one you love on wide stretches of golden sand, or dramatic cliffs with the beautiful Cornish sea in the background).
There’s a good chance of fine weather for a spring elopement in Cornwall, but whether it rains or not we have plenty of stunning indoor and outdoor wedding spaces to choose from. If the weather doesn’t play ball our romantic woodshed or converted piggery are gorgeous ceremony spaces.
The quieter season is also great for exploring famous sites like Tintagel Castle, Kynance Cove or St Michael’s Mount on your mini moon after your big day.
Summer elopements in Cornwall (June to September)

May is typically the sunniest month of the year here. A late spring or summer elopement in Cornwall is the most expensive, but the extra daylight hours mean you can get more out of your day. There’s also a higher chance of sunny weather and an outdoor wedding ceremony.
Our outdoor ceremony spaces include a romantic courtyard and scenic hilltop viewpoint and during this time of year our farm will be embellished with wildflowers, tall grasses and chattering birdsong.
Warmer weather means more catering options too, where you can choose anything from a formal sit down meal to an outdoor mini festival-inspired event or a barbeque.
Summer honeymoon ideas in Cornwall include long days relaxing at the beach, surfing, swimming, trying your hand at watersports, al fresco seafood dining, cocktails next to the sea or hiking the South West Coast Path.
Our favourite summer wedding photography locations in Cornwall are the idyllic creeks of the Helford River and Flushing Harbour where traditional Cornish cottages line the sea. Beach photography is still a possibility at this time of year too, especially when it’s quieter in the evenings.

Autumn elopements in Cornwall have a feel of magic in the air, with colourful landscapes lit up in gold, amber and copper. Wildlife flourishes on the farm with birds and squirrels preparing their nests and on rare occasions deer roaming the fields at dawn or dusk.
