Your day, your way!!Whether it’s a relaxed elopement for 2, or a Exclusive Use wedding for 24, The Cornish Place is a stunning and memorable place to hold your ceremony and celebrations during a 3 night wedding stay.
We have a host of licensed ceremony spaces for a registrar to conduct a legal wedding ceremony or can recommend celebrants if you would prefer.
Our indoor ceremony spaces include the rustic Woodshed and the cosy Piggery; outside you could marry in the courtyard between the cottages, the top of the hill or even the Field Shelter.
The Piggery and courtyard, or maybe the Paddock bar are the perfect spots for a post ceremony drinks reception. And end the day with your candlelit Wedding breakfast in our new stunning heated Glasshouse which offers year round long table dining for up to 24 for your celebrations, complete with twinkly festoon lighting.

For weddings of up to 24 people, you will have Exclusive Use of all three cottages and use of The Woodshed, The Piggery and The Courtyard and The Glasshouse for your ceremony and celebrations. Maybe an atmospheric ceremony in the Woodshed, followed by drinks at our licensed Paddock bar or a champagne reception in The Piggery before a celebration meal in our stunning Glasshouse which seats up to 24 at one long table.
We also have 7 outdoor licensed spots if you’d like to make the most of the weather and say your vows al fresco! You will have the use of fields for all your fun and games and can light fire-pits in the Courtyard as the sun goes down.
Please note that the cottages sleep up to 16 in 8 bedrooms but we can suggest alternative local accommodation for others. All wedding stays are for 3 nights and as well as giving you unlimited help with planning your wedding, we can suggest a programme with any suppliers you may require for your whole stay.

Elopement
Weddings for 2-6 people
For weddings of up to 6 people, escape to The Cornish Place and rent one of our beautiful cottages for a 3 night stay. You could stay in The Barn, The Stables or The Dairy Shed. Wake up on your wedding morning surrounded by beautiful countryside and stroll to the Woodshed for your licensed ceremony. It’s only a few miles to maybe pop to the beach for photos and then return for a celebration meal. For a formal meal we can suggest a private chef to cook for you in your cottage or The Glasshouse, or maybe you would just prefer a DIY pizza night in our outdoor kitchen! We give you unlimited planning guidance and help you select any suppliers you may require for your whole stay.

Dog Friendly Weddings
We love dogs here, and if you do too then your big day would not be complete without your canine companion!
All of our cottages are dog friendly, and if you want them to be part of your ceremony we will do everything we can to help.
A breath of fresh air….Outdoor Weddings
We now have 7 different outdoor spaces that are licensed for weddings. And if the weather doesn’t play ball, you can always have a back up plan with one of our indoor areas. Ask for a video tour to have a look around.
