Makers Cornwall Christmas Fair in Penryn
When: Friday 7th to Sunday 9th November

Bringing together thousands from Cornwall’s creative community, Makers Cornwall hosts a fantastic Christmas fair each year. You’ll discover over 70 stalls exhibiting one-of-a-kind creations, including everything from artwork to pottery to textiles. The beauty of the products is that you won’t find them anywhere else, as they are unique to these makers and to Cornwall – perfect for finding a unique gift for your nearest and dearest. Street food vendors will be on site all weekend, and on Friday, you’ll be treated to cocktails and mocktails. All togethe,r this one is an inclusive and friendly event, loved by those with an interest in artisan products.
Healey’s Christmas Market
When: Every weekend from 8th November to 14th December
Best for: Young children
Throughout November and December, Healey’s Cyder Farm transforms into a magical winter wonderland perfect for the whole family. Each weekend, the farmyard is filled with stalls selling seasonal gifts and treats, alongside the county’s best mulled cyder. Christmas choirs and festive music will ring throughout the venue, and there’s a full schedule of activities taking place across the farmyard. Featuring storytelling workshops and a range of other activities to keep young children entertained, this venue is ideal for young families seeking a festive day out as part of their winter escape.
Fowey Christmas Market
When: Friday 14th to Sunday 16th November 2025
Best for: Magical seaside atmosphere
Fowey Christmas Market transforms this idyllic harbour town into a winter wonderland. Almost a hundred local traders set up their stalls along the cobbled streets, with fancy dress and festive lights to boot. Take your pick from artisan gifts, handmade ornaments and locally made food and drink alongside street performers and festive music each day. Get there early on the Friday evening to see Santa arrive by tugboat and to join in on the town band parade – and don’t forget to check out the fabulous selection of boutique shops that line Fowey’s pretty high street.
Cornwall Christmas Fair at the Eden Project
When: Wednesday 19th to Thursday 20th November 2025
Best for: Shopping with a good cause
Unwrap the magic of the season at the Eden Project, with one of Cornwall’s largest Christmas markets. We recommend you visit this one on your way to or from The Cornish Place from up country. Take your pick from a fantastic selection of gifts or browse the stalls for accessories, toys, ceramics, jewellery and clothes. The location is truly spectacular, with the biomes lit up in magnificent lights for the duration of the fair. Tickets include lunch and a glass of wine, with all proceeds being donated to the Cornwall Community Fund to support the local area. If that isn’t enough, Eden is also home to Cornwall’s only indoor ice skating rink, which will be there until February!
Truro Christmas Market
When: Friday 21st November to Wednesday 24th December 2025
Best for: All round festive feels
Running for 34 days, Truro Christmas Market brings non-stop festive feels to the city centre. Visitors can expect over fifty artisan traders selling their wares from cute wooden cabins surrounded by sparkling lights. Everything is local, with offerings including farmers market produce, beautiful bespoke craft pieces and a huge selection of seasonal treats. Beyond the shopping, there are fantastic pop up street food stalls, festive music and carol singing, making Truro Christmas market one of the best for getting into the Christmas spirit.
Bedruthan Christmas Fayre
When: Saturday the 22nd to Sunday the 23rd of November 2025
Best for: Beachside views and creative workshops
No trip to Cornwall is complete without a trip to the beach and this seaside Christmas market takes you to one of the best. Make your way to Mawgan Porth, where you can enjoy wintery walks along one of Cornwall’s most scenic stretches of sand, then take the shuttle bus to Bedruthan Hotel & Spa for the annual Christmas market and craft workshops. Featuring stalls from a diverse mix of talented craftspeople and artisan makers from around the South West, the offerings include art, crafts, ceramics, textiles, illustration, homewares, gifts, fashion, jewellery, and food and drink. Afterwards, treat yourself to an afternoon tea at the hotel or one of the family-friendly craft workshops. This is a ticketed event at £2 per person, which also includes the shuttle bus.
Padstow Christmas Fayre
When: Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th December 2025
Best for: Foodies
For those familiar with Padstow, you’ll be unsurprised to know that Padstow Christmas Fayre is centred around the best of food. This year, the town brings demos and cookery masterclasses from over 50 chefs, including Rick Stein, Paul Ainsworth, Emily Scott and Mark Hix. All accompanied by live music and a whole host of ticketed events, including slap up meals and informal dining. On Friday night, there are fireworks and throughout the weekend there are Christmas markets, where you’ll find locally made produce and plenty of gifts and stocking fillers. Plus, a lantern parade and carol singing.
Porthleven Christmas Market
When: Friday 5th to Sunday 7th December 2025
Best for: Cornish community atmosphere
Head to one of Cornwall’s most beloved harbour towns this festive season for a weekend of Christmas shopping and seaside views. The Shipyard Christmas Market brings together a wonderful collection of Cornish makers and artisans, with stalls selling everything from handmade pottery and textiles to artwork and gifts you won’t find anywhere else. Enjoy delicious street food, meet Santa, and soak up the festive spirit as the town lights up for its Christmas switch-on. It’s a joyful, community-focused event that celebrates the best of Cornwall’s creativity and craftsmanship.
Falmouth Festive Weekend

For the ultimate family-friendly event, Falmouth’s Festive Weekend promises plenty of stalls surrounded by twinkling town lights. However, this weekend includes much more than just a market, with a huge offering of activities to enjoy. Head to Discovery Quay to enjoy skating on the ice rink or to try your hand on the curling lane. You’ll also find Santa’s grotto there and free entry to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, where you can enjoy fantastic maritime-themed galleries and interactive displays. Not to be missed is the Poly Christmas Market where you can find unique gifts made by local makers. Plus carol singing and music throughout the town alongside street performers.
Royal Cornwall Showground
When: Friday 12th to Sunday 14th December 2025
Best for: See santa and his reindeers
If you’re seeking a traditional Christmas market, Royal Cornwall Showground is one of the best. Featuring stalls from 120 local suppliers, you can shop to your heart’s content whilst discovering some of Cornwall’s best makers and producers. For children, Santa and his reindeer will be there all weekend, making this a truly magical experience. There’s also a full schedule of festive entertainment, an excellent offering of food and drink to be enjoyed and a giant Christmas tree.
Jubilee Wharf
When: Saturday 13th to Sunday 14th December 2025
Best for: Waterside views and quality products
Overlooking a beautiful river lined with trees and featuring both indoor and outdoor stalls, Jubilee Wharf Christmas Fair is another favourite with creatives. Including handcrafted local items ranging from seaglass jewellery and luxury skincare products to botanical drinks and ocean-inspired artwork, you can easily spend hours here admiring the quality of the products. There’s also an on-site cafe, though you may want to book a table ahead of time to guarantee a seat, as it’s only small and the market usually gets busy.
