Royal Cornwall Show, Wadebridge

Where: Royal Cornwall Show
One of the top agricultural shows in the country, the Royal Cornwall Show attracts everyone from local families, to the agricultural community, to members of the royal family. Taking place over three days, you can expect produce and livestock competitions, local trading stalls and pop up food stands. Plus, fairground rides for the kids and plenty more. Tickets are £3, but children under 4 can enter for free.
Tunes in the Dunes
When: Friday 6th to Sunday 8th June 2025
Where: Perranporth Beach
Tunes in the Dunes is the UK’s largest beachside music festival, set right on the golden sands of Perranporth. Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival

Where: Various venues across Falmouth

Mevagissey Feast Week
When: Sunday 29th June to Saturday 5th July 2025
Where: Mevagissey Harbour
First celebrated in 1754, Mevagissey Feast Week began as a religious tradition, but has evolved into a community-led event with a village fête feel. Expect a week-long schedule of events spread throughout the village – from fish feasts and cooking demonstrations to floral dances, live music, and prize draws. One of the highlights is the quirky homemade raft race across the harbour where entrants wear fancy dress.

Murdoch Day
When: Saturday 7th June 2025
Just ten minutes from The Cornish Place, Murdoch Day is a celebration of Redruth’s industrial heritage. Named after inventor William Murdoch, a pioneer of the industrial age, the festival honours his legacy and Redruth’s historic prosperity. This year marks 200 years of the modern railway, with street markets, craft fairs, family activities, live music, dancing, and historical storytelling.
Truro Children’s Day
When: Saturday 21st June
For a full day of family fun, Truro Children's Day includes free activities for all to enjoy. Enjoy BMX stunt shows, obstacle courses, circus skills and craft stalls at Lemon Quay. Next, make your way to Pydar Street to meet Viking warriors from Brederedh Cornovii, a local reenactment group. There will also be a Children's Day market, plus the usual Truro Farmers Market which will relocate to Boscawen Street for the day.
Watch Treasure Island at the Minack Theatre
Head to Porthcurno for an outdoor performance overlooking the Atlantic Ocean at Minack Theatre. Shows include a comical version of Treasure Island perfect for children who love adventurous tales, or an adaptation of Kenneth Graham’s animal-filled story Wind in the Willows.
Take a boat to Seal Island
Head to Cornwall’s north coast for a boat trip to Seal Island – a small rocky island in St Ives Bay. Jump aboard from St Ives harbour for the opportunity to see a colony of Atlantic grey seals.
