Hot Tub and Gym: Safety Rules & Agreement
To ensure all our guests have a safe and relaxing stay, the use of the hot tub and gym is subject to the following rules. Please note that we can only provide access to these facilities once this form has been signed.
HOT TUB SAFETY
Supervision: Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Never leave children unattended near the water.
Cover: Always replace the cover when the tub is not in use to keep it warm, clean, and safe for children and pets.
Health: If you are pregnant or have heart/respiratory conditions, please consult a doctor before use.
No Glass or Alcohol: Do not use glass near the tub. Please limit alcohol consumption; red wine is prohibited as it may stain the tub.
Safety First: No running, jumping, or using electrical devices near the water.
HYGIENE & MAINTENANCE
Shower First: Please take a soapy shower before entering. Lotions, perfumes, and dirt contaminate the water and affect the chemical balance.
Clothing: Only dedicated swimwear should be worn.
Water Quality: We clean and refill the tub between guests. Do not remove the floating filter during your stay.
GYM RULES
Hours: Open 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Please book your 60-minute slot on the gym timetable.
Age Limit: The gym is strictly for guests aged 16 and over.
Cleanliness: Please wipe down equipment with the provided spray after use and return weights to the rack.
THE LEGAL PART (Liability Waiver)
By signing this form, you agree to the following:
Personal Responsibility: You acknowledge that using a hot tub or gym equipment involves a risk of injury if not used correctly. You agree to use the facilities responsibly and as intended.
Supervision: You accept full responsibility for the safety and supervision of all children and guests in your party.
Liability: The Cornish Place accepts no liability for any accidents, injuries, or loss of personal property arising from the misuse of these facilities or a failure to follow the safety rules. (Note: This does not affect your statutory rights regarding any loss caused by our proven negligence).
Availability: While we strive to keep all facilities in perfect working order, we cannot guarantee 100% uptime due to maintenance or circumstances beyond our control (such as drought restrictions).
