Local Food Festivals

I’m always banging on about how wonderful our local food producers are and how lucky we are not to have to depend on supermarkets.

Now it’s time to focus on those people who really bring this local produce alive - the amazing chefs of Cornwall! We are in a fantastic location here to visit the brilliant restaurants from Falmouth to St Ives to Padstow, but for a bit more fun come on down to the local Cornish food festivals. All are free to attend, although there are some ticketed events too.

21 - 23 April 2023

Porthleven Food Festival

Porthleven is a bit of a hidden gem… not as well known as St Ives or Padstow, but picture perfect and a bit of a foodie haven.

New to this year’s festival is the Net Loft Feasts - experience the food of some the most acclaimed chefs in Cornwall - including Andi Tuck (Great British Menu, St Kew Inn), Jude Kereama (Great British Menu, Kota) and Rupert Cooper (Philleigh Way Cookery School, often at The Cornish Place!)

12 - 14 May St Ives Food and Drink Festival

Porthminster Beach St Ives

Free to attend, set on the spectacular Porthminster beach. Lots of highlights from great local characters - we’re looking forward to the Ross Geach/Jack Stein double act on Saturday afternoon!

26 - 28 May Falmouth Food Festival

A new festival for this year, but as its just down the road in Falmouth it has to be worth a visit! Follow the facebook page for more info as it’s released.

At the moment we have some availability for all three weekends so get booking for a perfect start to the Summer!
